Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to what clients ask most.
How long does a project take?
Typical projects run 4–12 weeks depending on scope. We give you a written timeline before any money changes hands.
Do you work with clients outside Uganda?
Yes. We serve clients across Africa and globally. Most communication happens via email and video calls.
How do you handle payments?
We accept Mobile Money and Visa/Mastercard via Flutterwave, plus direct bank transfer. Standard terms are 50% deposit and 50% on delivery.
Who owns the code after we ship?
You do, once the final payment clears. Until then, Tevanox retains ownership.
Do you offer maintenance?
Yes — monthly retainers start at UGX 500,000 covering hosting, security updates, bug fixes, and support hours.
Can you fix software built by someone else?
Yes. We audit, repair, and take over stalled or broken codebases. This is one of our most common services.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, before any sensitive information is shared. Email hello@tevanox.com.
What stack do you use?
Next.js, TypeScript, Drizzle ORM, Postgres, Groq/OpenAI/Claude for AI, Flutterwave for payments, Vercel for hosting.
How do you charge — fixed fee or hourly?
Fixed fee for defined scopes. Hourly for ongoing maintenance and consulting.
What if the project runs over budget?
We don't ask for more money without a written change order you approve first.
